In a little over a month’s time, I hope to see you at a  2 night/3 day Mindfulness retreat
Fri July 20 – Sun July 22, 2018  at Dorje Denma Ling Retreat centre in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. Open to all!

Join Dr. Timothy Walker and I for this weekend mindfulness and meditation retreat 2 hours north of Halifax.

Explore mindful awareness in a beautiful natural setting. Join us for this restorative weekend – truly unplug & deepen your practice. Dive it! Discover what it is to experience a meditation retreat.  Open to all!

The format will be a Fri evening arrival, departure after lunch on Sunday. All meals, accommodations, and guided meditations + programming included. Free Halifax Mindful Project Drop-In 

Join me! his bi-weekly Halifax mindfulness drop-in is in support of 100 Women Who Care Halifax –  we will take a break for the summer months – see you in September 2018!

Donations accepted in support of 100 Women who Care Halifax whose goal is to support  non-profit and charitable organizations that work at the grassroots level in Halifax.

Open to all, offered in chairs, no prior meditation experience necessary. Lots of free street parking, drop in and hit the re-set button after work!  Space is limited, register by emailing Beth. Men welcome too!

JOIN ME Sept 2018 in Halifax:

This 6 week program meets weekly for 2 hours and is an excellent introduction to mindfulness for beginners. The is the 6 week UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Centre offering, this program provides insight into the basics of mindfulness, how to develop a mindfulness meditation practice, and how mindfulness can be applied in daily life. It is also appropriate for experienced practitioners who wish to revitalize their practice. Explore how to integrate awareness and creativity into daily living!

The Atlantic Contemplative Centre (ACC) runs various OPEN MINDFULNESS GROUPS (OMG) across Halifax.

The groups are offered on a weekly basis at no cost to participants and are open to anyone with an interest in mindfulness. This fall there are five groups operating: Dartmouth OMG Thursday 4-5 PM at 58 Tacoma Drive; South End OMG Wednesdays 12-1PM in Room HC213, Homburg Health and Wellness Centre, SMU St. Mary’s University; Young Street OMG Mondays 12:15-1:15PM PM at the Halifax Peninsula Community Health Team 1st floor, 6080 Young; North End Community OMG Mondays from 2-3:00 PM at the North End Community Health Centre annex, 2103 Gottingen Street; and the Open Mindfulness in the Bay Monthly starting Sunday October 16, 2016 2:30-4:30 PM at the Tantallon Library. A dedicated group of ACC faculty facilitate each of these groups.
